A note from the founder

Built by a competitor who missed having a home base.

I opened Core Phoenix Guild in 2019 after a decade grinding ranked ladders out of my apartment near Trinity Bellwoods. Toronto had incredible talent but nowhere for players to train side by side, so I converted a Queen West loft into a room where the network never lags and the coffee never runs out.

Today the Guild runs weekly scrims, hosts open bracket nights, and mentors juniors chasing their first tournament win. Whether you queue solo or roll ten deep, you get a seat, a squad, and people who take your grind as seriously as you do.

Walk-ins are always welcome and billed at the hourly arena rate. Membership simply unlocks unlimited off-peak play, weekly scrims, and priority tournament seeding. Most casual players start with a walk-in and upgrade once they’re here every week.

We’re open Monday to Thursday from 12pm to 11pm, Friday and Saturday from 12pm to 2am, and Sunday from 12pm to 10pm. Statutory holidays run on the Sunday schedule. Late-night pods can be reserved online up to two weeks ahead.

Our roster of ranked coaches covers Valorant, League of Legends, Counter-Strike 2, Rocket League, and Apex Legends. Each session includes live drills plus a recorded VOD review you keep. Book a free 15-minute intro call if you’re unsure which coach fits your goals.

Absolutely. Bring a budget and the titles you play, and our build bench will spec, assemble, and cable-manage a machine on-site, usually within five business days. Every build ships with a two-year in-house warranty and free tune-ups for members.

There is a Green P lot one block south on Richmond Street, and the 501 Queen streetcar stops directly outside our door. On weekends we recommend transit, since street parking on Queen fills up fast after 6pm.

Yes — we run private bay rentals and full-room buyouts for birthdays, corporate socials, and team-building nights. Packages include reserved rigs, a dedicated host, and optional catering from neighbouring Queen West spots. Email us for a custom quote.
